Conan Wang is a 2-time Emmy Award winning Executive Creative Director with a multi-disciplinary background working on integrated marketing and advertising campaigns in the global marketplace.
His most recent position was at VML, New York as senior creative leader and Executive Creative Director for WPP Ford, the dedicated, multi-agency global team that supports Ford Motor Company—one of WPP’s largest global accounts. He was responsible for marketing and communications, brand and customer experiences, brand design, and all creative output on Ford.com, Ford Enterprise, and Ford’s evolving portfolio of products and services.
Prior to VML, he was SVP/Executive Creative Director at TBWA for Nissan United, Europe, located in Paris, France. He was responsible for leading all of Nissan’s brand and retail work across the AMIEO region, elevating the creative and craft to deliver strong business results on the agency’s largest account.
At CAA Marketing, Conan was Global Executive Creative Director, developing marketing platforms, brand strategy, branded entertainment, and advertising campaigns for companies such as AB InBev, Activision Blizzard, Canada Goose, Coca-Cola, Diageo, Dolby, GM, Marvel Studios, and Warner Bros. His accomplishments included creating Canada Goose’s first global advertising campaign, developing the first brand film to premier at the Oscars for Dolby, and launching Overwatch League into e-sports.
Prior to CAA, Conan was a Creative Director at Wieden+Kennedy, managing the Nike Greater China and Chrysler APAC businesses. The work spanned over 21 countries including Japan, Australia, China, Taiwan and Korea. Conan has led some of the most impactful campaigns to hit the China marketplace, including the 2008 Olympics and the 2010 World Cup. He developed a TV documentary for Nike where 33 million people tuned in to watch. He also created a training series on social media that helped one million women transform their bodies through fitness and nutrition. He led new business pitches in Asia and North America, oversaw 25+ creatives, mentored young creative talent, and helped grow the office from a staff of 40 to 150.
Before Wieden+Kennedy, Conan worked at Saatchi & Saatchi and helped create some of Toyota's most successful automotive launches. During his tenure, Saatchi took Toyota from 3rd to 1st in sales in North America (United States, Canada, and Mexico).
He’s freelanced as Creative Director at BBH on Google, Dentsu on Disney, Not Impossible Labs, CAA-GBG Global Brand Group, Ogilvy, and Emerson Collective (a social change organization founded by Laurene Powell Jobs). During this period, he helped brand and develop a cancer research app connecting patients and research centers across the US.

He's also received awards from One Show, Clios, D&AD, Art Director’s Club, London International Awards, Key Art Awards, FWA, Effies, Epica, and more.
